One of the things we love about this work is helping sports like street skateboarding reach audiences they wouldn’t otherwise have. Last weekend Lightning Visuals supported the Liga Pro Skate event in Porto, Portugal — an official stop on the professional development circuit, part of Portugal’s Olympic pathway, and open to national and international athletes under World Skate, the IOC-recognized governing body of skateboarding.

Our graphics worked in two places at once: live on the big screens for the crowd at the venue, and on the broadcast feed for skaters watching the stream from anywhere in the world. Connecting the athletes in Porto to the next generation watching from their local park is what makes this kind of production meaningful.
